Design-build modular construction of a mixed income housing development. This new construction project brought one 50-unit apartment building and one 46-unit apartment building to the city of Chelsea, Massachusetts. Fifty of the units are designated as affordable. Urban Land Institute awarded the Jack Kemp Excellence in Affordable and Workforce Housing Award to The Flats at 22, The Flats at 44 and other Chelsea buildings located in the Box District. DMS is the Architect of Record.
