DMS was the Architect of Record for the new construction of this two-story community life center. The new Community Life Center is home to the Salem Recreation Department, Council on Aging and Veteran’s Services, with twelve designated office rooms and ample space for programming needs. The 20,000 SF building can accommodate a range of recreational activities, classes, and public meetings with multiple programs rooms and public space, including exercise and game rooms, a kitchen, a library, and a multi-purpose space capable of holding large community meetings and special events. The building features a rooftop solar array, LED lighting fixtures, and energy efficient appliances.
