This interior renovation project revitalized a portion of a historic commercial building in the Charlestown Navy Yard. This renovation converted an underutilized space into a contemporary coworking and lounge area. The comprehensive renovation also included the addition of a new kitchen, a mother’s room, a family bathroom, and upgrades to the existing bathrooms. DMS incorporated the tenant’s branding colors into the design to create a common area that successfully represents their company. This renovation was completed in 2023.
This 4-story multi-tenant building is managed by one of DMS’ longtime clients. Over the years, we have provided a multitude of design services for this building such as marking plans to attract tenant, conceptual interior and exterior renderings, speculative design work and test-fit plans, feasibility studies, and interior renovations for new tenants.
