This project was an interior renovation of an occupied apartment building in Lynn, Massachusetts, originally constructed as a historic factory and now serving as a senior affordable housing community. The goal of the project was to upgrade shared amenity spaces to enhance functionality and comfort for residents. Renovations included updates to the main lobby areas, community room, salon, and library, as well as the addition of new amenities such as a fitness center and computer lab. The project also included new wayfinding signage designed to reference the building’s industrial history and incorporate historic photographs of Lynn from the period of the building’s original construction.
